Tirolites cingulatus
Taxonomy
Tirolites (Svilajites) cingulatus was named by Kittl (1903). It is not extant. Its type locality is Muć, which is in an Olenekian carbonate limestone in the Werfen Formation of Croatia. It is the type species of Tirolites (Svilajites).
It was recombined as Svilajites cingulatus by Spath (1934); it was recombined as Tirolites cingulatus by Kummel (1969).
