Bittnerites bittneri
Taxonomy
Tirolites (Bittnerites) bittneri was named by Kittl (1903). It is not extant. Its type locality is Muć, which is in an Olenekian carbonate limestone in the Werfen Formation of Croatia. It is the type species of Tirolites (Bittnerites).
It was recombined as Bittnerites bittneri by Spath (1934), Kummel (1969).
