Dzikella trammeri was named by Kaim (2004). Its type specimen is ZPAL GA.9/2, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample H3, Wạwał clay pit, which is in a Valanginian offshore claystone in Poland. It is the type species of Dzikella.
