Bananogmius ellisensis
Taxonomy
Bananogmius ellisensis was named by Fielitz and Shimada (1999). Its type specimen is FHSM VP-2118, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North of Saline River (sec. 4, T11S, R18W), which is in a Turonian offshore shale in the Carlile Shale Formation of Kansas.
