Scindocorax novimexicanus

Taxonomy
Scindocorax novimexicanus was named by Bourdon et al. (2011). Its type specimen is NMMNH P-60858, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NMMNH L-297, Rio Puerco, which is in a Santonian/Santonian paralic sandstone in the Point Lookout Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Scindocorax.
