Taxonomy
Puzosia jimboi was named by Anderson (1938). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS G loc. 61936, Jackass Flat, which is in an Albian marine horizon in California.
It was replaced with Puzosia (Parapuzosia) waringi by Anderson (1958); it was recombined as Hulenites jimboi by Matsumoto (1959).
