Taxonomy
Ancyloceras durrelli was named by Anderson (1938). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 1661, a mile west of the Murphy house, Roaring River, which is in a Barremian marine horizon in the Budden Canyon Formation of California.
