Gavialimimus almaghribensis
Taxonomy
Gavialimimus almaghribensis was named by Strong et al. (2020). Its type specimen is MHNM.KHG.1231, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oulad Abdoun Basin (Couche III, general), which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the Phosphates Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Gavialimimus.
