Taxonomy
Paranogmius doederleini was named by Weiler (1935). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gebel el Dist Sockel, bed 7n, which is in a Cenomanian marginal marine claystone in the Bahariya Formation of Egypt. It is the type species of Paranogmius.
