Taxonomy
Tselfatia dalmatia was named by Bardack and Teller-Marshall (1980). Its type specimen is GPM 3c, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Dixonanogmius dalmatius by Amalfitano et al. (2020).
