Danubites lissarensis was named by Diener (1897). It is not extant. Its type locality is Dharma No. XI, Lissar Valley, Johar (Otoceras beds), which is in an Induan marine horizon in India.
It was recombined as Xenodiscus lissarensis by Spath (1934).
