Taxonomy
Paranorites inflatus was named by Spath (1934). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BMNH C. 10441. Its type locality is Chideru, Ceratite Marls, Salt Range, which is in an Olenekian marine horizon in the Ceratite Marls Formation of Pakistan.
