Tabellina laseroni was named by Waterhouse (2020). Its type specimen is AM F146235, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GRS13, Point Upright, which is in an Artinskian coastal sandstone in the Pebbley Beach Formation of Australia.
