Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
P. J. Bermúdez 1952Shell small, trochoid, conical, ventral face flat or slightly concave; numerous chambers, somewhat diagonal, all visible on the dorsal face, only those of the last turn of the turn visible on the ventral face; calcareous wall, finely perforated; umbilical region with a hollow umbonal nodule; opening as a simple groove at the base of the last chamber between the umbo and the periphery. Dimension: 0.4 mm - Cretaceous to Recent.

This genus is very similar to Glabratella Dorreen from which it differs by having the umbilical region occupied by a hollow umbonal node and the opening as a groove located at the base of the last chamber in the space between the umbonal node and the periphery, while in Glabratella it has the opening in the umbilical region.
