Taxonomy
Tuberocrinus lapazensis was named by Scheffler (2021). It is not extant. Its type specimen is GP 1E 4692. Its type locality is Tuberocrinus type locality at Chiar Umani, which is in a Pragian/Eifelian coastal mudstone/sandstone in the Belén Formation of Bolivia.
