Neolaganum archerensis
Taxonomy
Laganum archerensis was named by Clark and Twitchell (1915) [attributed to Twitchell only]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Archer, which is in an Oligocene marine horizon in Florida. It is the type species of Neolaganum.
It was recombined as Rumphia archerensis by Cooke (1942); it was recombined as Neolaganum archerensis by Durham (1954).
