Lophionotus chinleana
Taxonomy
Lophionotus chinleana was named by Gibson (2013). Its type specimen is UMNH VP 19417, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Walt's Fish Quarry (UMNH VP 1760), which is in a Rhaetian terrestrial conglomerate/siltstone in the Chinle Formation of Utah.
