Epideroceras (Pseuduptonia) unispinatum was named by Bremer (1965). Its type specimen is Tübingen Ce 1259/43 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kızık, Ankara, which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian marine marl in Turkey.
