Nassarius (Catilon) hildegardae
Taxonomy
Nassarius hildegardae was named by Kanakoff (1956). Its type specimen is LACMIP 1110, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 291, Sand Canyon, San Gabriel Mountains, which is in a Pliocene marine siltstone in the Pico Formation of California.
It was recombined as Nassarius (Catilon) hildegardae by Addicott (1965).
