Turricula buwaldana
Taxonomy
Drillia buwaldana was named by Anderson and Martin (1914). Its type specimen is CAS 223 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 68, north bank of Kern River, which is in a Miocene coastal horizon in the Temblor Formation of California.
It was recombined as Clathrodrillia buwaldana by Loel and Corey (1932); it was recombined as Turricula buwaldana by Keen (1943), Addicott (1970).
