Gnathophis ornatus

Taxonomy
Congridarum ornatus was named by Frost (1928). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Long Beach, Clifden, which is in an Altonian coastal horizon in New Zealand.

It was recombined as Gnathophis ornatus by Schwarzhans (1985), Schwarzhans et al. (2017), Schwarzhans (2019).
