Austrocentris cavernosus

Taxonomy
Cleidopus cavernosus was named by Stinton (1957). Its type specimen is NMV P 16959, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Torquay, which is in a Chattian marine horizon in Australia. It is the type species of Austrocentris.

It was recombined as Austrocentris cavernosus by Schwarzhans (1980), Schwarzhans (1985).
