Taxonomy
Janeia incertis was named by Dickins (1999). Its type specimen is MGL 74080 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Haushi Uplift OL13, Section 5, which is in a Wordian offshore limestone in the Khuff Formation of Oman.
