Orretherium tzen
Taxonomy
Orretherium tzen was named by Martinelli et al. (2021). Its type specimen is CPAP-5007, a mandible (partial left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mammal Quarry (Río de Las Chinas Valley), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian floodplain mudstone in the Dorotea Formation of Chile.
