Menatalligator bergouniouxi
Taxonomy
Menatalligator bergouniouxi was named by Piton (1940). Its type specimen is part of the skull and most of the postcranial skeleton, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Menat (Piton collection), which is in a Selandian crater lake diatomite in the Menat Formation of France. It is the type species of Menatalligator.
