Epigonus aquilonius
Taxonomy
Epigonus aquilonius was named by Schwarzhans (2019). Its type specimen is NMNZ S. 47519, an otolith, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Parengarenga Harbour North shore, which is in an Otaian marine sandstone in the Waioha Shellbeds Formation of New Zealand.
