Taxonomy
Pecten peckhami was named by Gabb (1869).

It was recombined as Pecten (Pseudamusium) peckhami by Arnold (1906); it was recombined as Palliolum (Delectopecten) peckhami by Stewart (1930); it was synonymized subjectively with Pecten (Pseudamussium) pedroanus by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Delectopecten peckhami by Moore (1963), Moore (1984).
