Flabellipecten merriami

Taxonomy
Pecten (Pecten) merriami was named by Arnold (1906). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is San Felician Creek, which is in a Pliocene marine horizon in California.

It was synonymized subjectively with Pecten (Patinopecten) caurinus by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Flabellipecten merriami by Moore (1984).
