Bardackichthys carteri
Taxonomy
Bardackichthys carteri was named by Hacker and Shimada (2021). Its type specimen is DMNH 20149, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Denton County, which is in a Cenomanian marginal marine sandstone in the Lewisville Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Bardackichthys.
