Brachychirotherium hauboldi
Taxonomy
Chirotherium hauboldi was named by Ptaszynski (1990) [Name ascribed to Ptaszynski in this paper.]. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is KR 1:56.1, 5:8.1, 9:14.1; MWGUW 01139, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Wióry tracksite, which is in a Spathian channel sandstone/siltstone in the Wióry Formation of Poland.
It was recombined as Brachychirotherium hauboldi by Ptaszynski (2000); it was recombined as Protochirotherium hauboldi by Klein and Lucas (2021).
