Batrachopus gainensis

Taxonomy
Haenamichnus gainensis was named by Kim et al. (2012). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is KNUE080301 (cast of trackway P2), a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Gain-ri tracksite, Changseon Island, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial sandstone/shale in the Haman Formation of South Korea.

It was recombined as Batrachopus gainensis by Kim et al. (2020).

J. Y. Kim et al. 2012Haenamichnus trackway indicating an animal with an elongate tetradactyl pes with digits of subequal length, and slight divarication (∼22°). Pes traces less elongate than in Haenamichnus uhangriensis, and trackway narrower with shorter, more variable steps.
