Taxonomy

Leda chehalisensis was named by Weaver (1912). Its type specimen is CAS 539 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Nuculana (Nuculana) chehalisensis by Etherington (1931); it was synonymized subjectively with Leda washingtonensis by Tegland (1933); it was recombined as Nuculana (Saccella) chehalisensis by Moore (1983).
