Nuculana (Saccella) ochsneri

Taxonomy

Leda ochsneri was named by Anderson and Martin (1914). Its type specimen is CAS 103 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 68, north bank of Kern River, which is in a Miocene coastal horizon in the Temblor Formation of California.

It was recombined as Nuculana ochsneri by Durham (1944); it was recombined as Nuculana (Saccella) ochsneri by Moore (1983).
