Glycymeris (Tucetona) fresnoensis

Taxonomy
Glycimeris fresnoensis was named by Dickerson (1916). Its type specimen is UCMP 33658, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP 1817, Urruttia Canyon-Salt Creek, which is in a Ypresian deep-water shale in the Lodo Formation of California.

It was recombined as Glycymeris fresnoensis by Weaver (1942); it was recombined as Glycymeris (Tucetona) fresnoensis by Moore (1983).
