Pycnodonte (Pycnodonte) ynezana

Taxonomy
Ostrea eldridgei ynezana was named by Loel and Corey (1932). Its type specimen is UCMP 31745 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. A317, Santa Rosa Hills, Santa Ynez Mountains, which is in a Miocene coastal conglomerate in the Vaqueros Formation of California.

It was recombined as Pycnodonte (Pycnodonte) ynezana by Moore (1987).
