Ostrea titan eucorrugata was named by Hertlein (1934). Its type specimen is UCMP 11309, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Crassostrea eucorrugata by Moore (1987).

Synonyms

Ostrea titan corrugata was named by Nomland (1917). Its type specimen is UCMP 11309, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was considered an invalid subgroup of Ostrea titan by Hanna (1924); it was replaced with Ostrea titan eucorrugata by Hertlein (1934).
