Astandes salsa
Taxonomy
Astandes salsa was named by Squires and Saul (2003). Its type specimen is LACMIP 12504, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 10733, Salt Creek, which is in a Turonian marine shale in the Redding Formation of California.
