Taxonomy
Lohuecosuchus mechinorum was named by Narváez et al. (2015). Its type specimen is MDE/CM-616, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fox-Amphoux (Var), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in France.
It was recombined as Allodaposuchus mechinorum by Blanco (2021).
