Taxonomy
Tessarolax louellae was named by Saul and Squires (2015). Its type specimen is RBCM.EH2011.007.0015 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Phipps Point, NW Hornby Island, which is in a Campanian marine mudstone in the Northumberland Formation of Canada.
