Prodentalium neornatum
Taxonomy
Dentalium neornatum was named by Hayasaka (1925). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kinshozan, Kuro zone, Akasaka, Gifu Prefecture, which is in a Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Akasaka Formation of Japan.
It was recombined as Prodentalium neornatum by Asato and Kase (2021).
