Minodentalium okumurai
Taxonomy
Minodentalium okumurai was named by Asato and Kase (2021). Its type specimen is NMNS PM 28406, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mt. Kinshozan, middle-upper Member, Akasaka (NMNS collection), which is in a Wordian/Capitanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Akasaka Formation of Japan.
