Taxonomy
Parahoplites inaensis was named by Matsukawa (2021). Its type specimen is TKB 016249, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality A202, Todai area, which is in an Aptian marine shale in the Todai Formation of Japan.
