Anematina indiscreta was named by Mazaev (2019). Its type specimen is PIN 5538/11-5, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Shakhtau open pit, sample 11, which is in an Asselian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Shakhtau Reef Formation of the Russian Federation.
