Pateroperca libanica
Taxonomy
Pateroperca libanica was named by Woodward (1942). Its type specimen is AUB 108906, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Hadjoula (AUB collection), which is in a Cenomanian carbonate limestone in Lebanon. It is the type species of Pateroperca.
