Pharmacichthys venenifer
Taxonomy
Pharmacichthys venenifer was named by Woodward (1942). Its type specimen is AUB 104691(104699), a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hakel (AUB collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon. It is the type species of Pharmacichthys.
