Unicachichthys multidentata
Taxonomy
Unicachichthys multidentata was named by Díaz-Cruz et al. (2016). Its type specimen is IHNFG-2987, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is El Chango Quarry, which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite in the Cintalapa Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Unicachichthys.
