Gladiopycnodus karami
Taxonomy
Gladiopycnodus karami was named by Taverne and Capasso (2013). It is not extant. Its type specimen is CLC S-393, a skeleton. Its type locality is Haqel (Capasso collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon. It is the type species of Gladiopycnodus.
