Hensodon spinosus

Taxonomy
Mesodon spinosum was named by Hennig (1907). Its type specimen is MfN MB.F.7232 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Haqel (MfN collection), which is in a Cenomanian marine limestone in Lebanon. It is the type species of Hensodon.

It was recombined as Hensodon spinosus by Kriwet (2004), Capasso et al. (2010).
