Cavinichthys pachylepis
Taxonomy
Cavinichthys pachylepis was named by Taverne and Capasso (2019). It is not extant. Its type specimen is CLC I-123. Its type locality is Pietraroja (Capasso collection), which is in an Albian basinal (carbonate) mudstone/wackestone in Italy. It is the type species of Cavinichthys.
