Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
C.C. Loron et al. 2019 | Spherical or oval vesicles, made of separate polygonal or subpolygonal plates, slightly convex outwards. The corner edges of the four-, five- or six- plates are smoothly bent inward, forming a cellular structure (infrastructure) on the inner sur- face of the vesicle, in the form of ridges up to 1–2 μm in height. On the outer surface of the vesicle, crests correspond to deep grooves. There is no precise external sculpture. The dimensions of the vesicles are 30–60 μm, the plates are 6–8 μm, the thickness of the plates (vesicle walls) is < 1 μm |
